The Place

Welcome to Likhaya (Zulu for "our home") 260 acres of wild and wonderful West Virginia paradise. Our dream

for Likhaya is that it develop into a Holistic Healing environment for horses and humans.Our plans include

housing for 10 - 15 horses, a covered riding arena and covered round pen and therapeutic paths for

rehabilitation of equine feet.

We have several hay meadows that we will develop organically and about 100 acres for the horses to roam.

This beautiful old hand hewn cabin (currently a barn) will be lovingly restored and made available as a guest

house.

We are surrounded by miles of trails through the hills - from wide, easy to ride gravel and dirt roads, to

challenging deer track through the woods. Wildlife and flowers abound. It's possible to see deer, bear, bobcat,

turkeys & hawks during your stay. There are wild flowers in bloom from earliest spring until late fall. A

beautiful and quiet place for healing the frazzled soul.
